Default Open up a few areas for Cartographers

Like the Monastery Overlook.
Jade Quarry is a big one.
I know theres alot more places but these are just the ones that pop up.
This includes other campaigns, is NOT limited to just the ones I stated.
These 2 just rely too much on other people interaction or waiting for a festival that doesnt happen that often.
And yes I know these are not NEEDED but they DO count and are helpful.
I am also NOT asking for free % for cart we would still have to map these places.

overlook doesn't count and charting town area's can be done without going in there
the only thing they should do is make sure you can get into aspenwood/jade quarry
which i have spent 3 hours on waiting just to get enough people to map jade quarry
for the rest it's not needed /notsigned

you don't need every little part mapped, /notsigned
you just have to be patient and for aspenwood/jade quarry just get a bunch of guildies or alliance members to join it.

I would have been more willing to /sign if you gave good reason for NEEDING this, and for including more than just Cantha. As noted, you do not need every area mapped to get 100%, but getting some of those areas makes it easier.

Since there is no reason, this was an easy /unsigned.

And most of the Monastery you can map during Canthan Festival and whatnot. Though the Jade Quarry/Aspenwood is a pain. Thats time trying to get it but its completely doable!

That's how I got my cart title. Those little sections of town aren't needed. JQ is the only real challenge in mapping Cantha.

No need to open overlook title can be achieved without it. Getting enough people to get into JQ is hard though.

Overlook is easily accessible during festivals.

"Restricted" areas usually unfong nothing. And if you want them badly, you can always hunt down alliance that owns that spot down and buy membership for few hours.

If you want to make something accessible, make starting istan areas because there is no way foreginer can reach that sizeable part of map. But they are not needed eaither.

I just didn't bother with the Jade Quarry so it isn't essential that you do. But if you do want it I would imagine you're going to have to organise two teams.

Theres no reason for them to be closed either.
For the towns theres no need for gatekeepes. The npcs can just not talk to you unless you own town.

How does doing this affect any of you in any way.
Answer it doesnt.
Just makes it to where we wont have to wait for festivals or wait for alliance of towns.
And mapping this section DOES count it may not be needed but for cartographer it is very helpful.

Overlook is open during festivals, and if you really want to get the area in those town areas, find a guild in the proper alliance and go for it.

The title is easy enough to get. If you want help, use Texmod or get a mate with 100% to compare.

Already using Texmod and there are some spots that cannot be cleared without some areas being open. I scraped the edge for almost an hour and just cannot get there.
Seriously how does this hurt anyone? It doesnt. It wont make the game any harder/easier for you. you and Magma I notice are people that like to go to every suggestion and unsign everything because it wont benefit you.

I dont' see that this could hurt anything in anyway. Though i would prefer to keep other alliances out of my restricted section. We work hard to own towns I say no to that but the others. why not.

/signed.

well ya thats why im saying the npcs that are in the restricted areas still cant be used by anyone other than the town owners. But the gates themselves open.

The only places that do not count are pre-Searing, underground areas and 'out of space' areas like The Mist or Glint's sand lair.
Monastery Overlook and Island of Shehkah DO count.

Monastery can be mapped when Shing Jea is expanded with that map, though.
Island of Shehkah is the only one left, then.

And for the rest, ALL PvP areas should have a 'visit' mode, like Guild Halls have.
The Host in the PvP outpost should have an option to get to the explorable version of that area.
